Can I listen to music on its own, without Bible audio?

Yes. Dwell offers music you can play on its own, no scripture alongside it. This is separate from the background music that plays behind Bible audio.

Finding and Playing Music

  1. Tap Explore at the bottom of your screen.

  2. Scroll to Music.

  3. Tap any album or track to begin listening.

To save music for offline listening, tap the downward arrow to download it to your device.

How This Differs from Background Music

  • Plays on its own. This music cannot be layered underneath Bible audio. If you want music behind scripture, use the background music options in App Personalization → Background Music instead.

  • Separate from your background music settings. Your background music selections, volume balance, and disabled tracks do not carry over here.
