Reminders in Dwell behave a little differently depending on the type of content they're set for. Here's what you need to know.
How Reminders Work Across Devices
Series reminders (Dwell Daily, Advent, Lent, Sleep experiences) sync across all your devices, but are set to disabled on devices other than the one you used to create them. You'll need to manually enable them on any additional device.
Bible Plan reminders currently only appear on the device you used to set them up. Cross-device enabling/disabling is not yet available for plans.
How to Enable a Reminder on Another Device
Open Dwell on the device you'd like to enable the reminder on
Tap the gear icon in the top left corner
Tap "Reminders"
Under "Disabled on this Device", tap the + icon next to the reminder you'd like to enable
That's it. You'll now receive the reminder on that device!
How to Disable a Reminder on a Device
Open Dwell on the device you'd like to disable the reminder on
Tap the gear icon in the top left corner
Tap "Reminders"
Tap the reminder you'd like to disable
On the "Set Reminder" screen, toggle off "Enabled on this device"
Tap "Save" you'll no longer receive the reminder on that device
What's the Difference Between Disabling and Deleting a Reminder?
Disabling a reminder removes it only from the device you're currently on. If you have the same reminder enabled on another device, you'll still be notified there.
Deleting a reminder permanently removes it from all of your devices.
A Note on Time and Date Settings
The time and date you set on your primary device will automatically carry over when you enable a reminder on another device. However, if you change the time or date on a secondary device, that change will apply to all of your devices.
