Understanding Keep Listening and Queue

What is the best way to use Keep Listening and the Queue?

Written by Jen Quirk

Where to Find Them

  • Keep Listening is on the home page of your app, just below "Up Next"

  • Queue is accessed by tapping the list button in the player

Keep Listening

This section shows anything you've recently listened to and holds your place in the audio so you can jump back in at any time. Think of it like a bookmark!

💡 Pro Tip: Keep Listening is especially helpful if you're listening through the Bible under the "Bible" tab. It saves your spot like a bookmark so you can always pick up right where you left off.

It works the same way for plan days. If you can't finish a full day's reading in one sitting, just come back to Keep Listening and you'll be right where you left off.

To remove something from the list:

  1. Long press the tile for the content you'd like to remove

  2. Choose one of the following options:

    • Mark as Complete best for plan days you've already finished

    • Remove removes the tile from your Keep Listening list

Both actions will remove the tile from view.

Queue

Think of the Queue as a "line" of audio tracks waiting to be played.

  1. Tap the list button in the player

  2. This opens to show what's Currently Playing

  3. Scroll up to see your History

  4. Scroll down to see your Upcoming tracks, audio you've manually added to your Queue, waiting to be played

Note: Your place within the current track is not saved in the Queue. Use Keep Listening to pick up where you left off.

To clear your history: tap Remove all to delete your Queue history.

💡 Pro Tip: This is a great feature for listeners who like to take in more than one plan day at a time. Just add multiple days to your Queue and play straight through. It's especially handy when you're driving, so you don't have to keep picking up your phone to find the next track.
