How Does the Dwell + Yoto Integration Work?
We've partnered with Yoto, an award-winning, screen-free audio platform made for kids, so your family can enjoy Dwell Kids devotionals on a Yoto player. No screens, no distractions, just meaningful Bible-centered audio. 🎉
What Is Yoto?
Yoto is an audio player designed for kids ages 3–12. It plays physical cards that contain audio content. Kids simply insert a card and the audio begins. There are no microphones, ads, or screens, just a simple, tactile way for kids to listen and learn.
Parents love it because it's screen-free and safe, it empowers kids to listen independently, and parents can create custom cards from their own content.
What's Available on Yoto?
Dwell Kids Daily A short, engaging, biblically rich daily devotional designed to help kids engage with Scripture in age-appropriate ways. Perfect for mornings, quiet time, or right before bed.
Your Yoto card will always include the 25 most recent episodes, and Yoto will automatically update it with new content, so you only need to set it up once. You'll need Wi-Fi for the card to pull in the latest episodes, but previously downloaded content can be enjoyed offline.
Night Light A new nightly devotional designed to help your children wind down, fill their minds with Scripture, and drift into a peaceful night's sleep. Each devotional opens with gentle prayers and a brief biblical reflection, set against soothing background music that gradually fades to silence over the following 20–25 minutes, so your child will likely be asleep long before it ends.
A new devotional automatically loads each night, so there's nothing you need to do after your initial one-time setup in Yoto. Night Light includes 28 sequential devotionals that cycle through on repeat, and we'll refresh the content periodically on our end.
Active subscription required. You'll need an active Dwell subscription for your Yoto link to work. If your subscription lapses, previously downloaded content will become unavailable.
How to Set It Up
Step 1: Get a Yoto Player
If you don't have one yet, choose the Yoto Player for home use or the Yoto Mini for travel.
Step 2: Create a Yoto Account
Download the Yoto app and create an account. This is where you'll link custom audio content to a card.
Step 3: Order Blank Yoto Cards
Purchase "Make Your Own" blank cards directly from Yoto here.
Step 4: Get Your Dwell Kids Yoto Link
Open the Dwell app and tap the settings gear icon in the top-left corner.
Tap "Integrations" → "Yoto".
Tap "Get Yoto Link" next to Dwell Kids Daily and/or Night Light.
Step 5: Upload to Yoto
In the Yoto app, assign your Dwell link to a Make Your Own card as a podcast. Insert the card into your Yoto player and you're ready to go!
You will need 2 cards if you want to play both pieces of content. One for Dwell Kids Daily, and another for Night Light.
